Having just completed the Welsh Sea Rowing League races, we’re really happy competing against some great crews consisting of the most wonderful people, it’s fantastic to be amongst the rowing community!

There are clubs all over Wales who come together to compete in Mens, Ladies, Mixed, Junior and Novice races, with events held in the North and South with clubs coming together for 3 races in Aberdyfi, Aberystwyth and New Quay, where competition is particularly stiff.

Not too shabby, we have won the Joint League, and the Southern League in the ladies category rowing for Solva Rowing Club. One of the highlights was beating the incredible Aberdyfi crew on their own water! We had a constant tussle with PYC Supavets and came joint 1^st overall in the southern league with them pipping us by 1 point to take overall 1^st in the Joint League.

Thanks to all the support we have had especially the coxes who come out in all weathers. We’re looking forward to the league dinner on 28^th October when we can party with all these fine people J
