Saturday 05th November was the date scheduled in our diaries for a promo shoot in the beautiful harbour of Solva. Our day started miserably – overcast, rainy and very damp, just what you might describe as typical Welsh autumnal weather. We were due to meet our film and support crew early afternoon to squeeze in a few hours of filming during high tide and just as we arrived, boom! The sun came out and shone all afternoon. Thank you mother nature!!

Our crew got to do what we all love most, jump in a boat and row whilst the awesome Dave Welton took some spectacular footage with his drone and the students of Film & Media at UWTSD Carmarthen took some amazing images, managing to capture our crew’s spirit perfectly. A big shout out also goes to Steve and Mike (super cox) from Solva Rowing Club for their massively appreciated support.

We are four girls planning on rowing an ocean, but we have an amazing team behind us, helping us make it happen and they will forever be part of our journey.
