On the 27th September, we were invited to speak at the Narberth & Whitland Rotary Club dinner at Plas Hyfryd. It was a wonderful evening, fantastic conversation and cracking questions following on from our presentation. It was so wonderful to engage with everyone in the room … it spoke volumes of our hosts’ interest, as we didn’t leave the venue until 11pm!

We were delighted to then receive an email requesting our attendance at their cheque presentation evening in Narberth Rugby Club on the 8th November. Helen and Liz went along (for more scrummy food!) and to listen to the previous years’ recipient of a donation, Poppy Cumine; who gave a captivating talk about her experiences at the International Scout Jamboree in South Korea and President Phil Thompson kept us amused mid cheque presentations with some fairly awful jokes! … I’m sure he won’t mind me saying!!

Each presentation we are doing, we’re learning what our audiences want to hear about … interestingly enough, questions don’t just focus on where we’re going to go to the toilet!
